After our eventful start to the academic year with both the Eco Festival at Streetly Methodist Church and the Baroque Rock concert in Walsall during torrential rain and thunderstorms, our NBSS players are now preparing for the first solo concert of this academic year at Beech Hill Grange Nursing Home in Wylde Green. We enjoy sharing our music with the residents in their beautiful lunge space.

We are delighted to have been awarded 2nd Prize at the Lichfield Greenhill Bower for our float at the Parade! Our entry was named Bach to the Future and we dressed as musicians throughout the ages. Vijay brought his car with epic speakers and made sure all our backing tracks were running while we were marching 2.5 miles while playing! We then finished the day with our 30 minute slot on the Community Stage in the park - a great experience!
